I can confirm that the virtual machine is running on iMac #5 when I am trying to add the ZP500 to any of the other computers. When I try to add the ZP500 from the Vista OS on iMac #5 to the printer list in the Vista OS on iMac #1-4 I get an error message telling me I do not have permission to access this printer. When I try to add the ZP500 while in the Vista OS on any of the iMac computers #1-4 from the ZP500 connected to iMac #5 that is being shared by the Vista OS, I am able to see the ZP500 on iMac #5 on from both Mac OS and Vista OS.

When trying to add a new printer in Mac OS I am able to see the ZP500 on the network as being shared by the Mac OS on the iMac machine it is being shared from, however it does not show up again as being shared from the Vista OS (I guess this does not matter as I am not concerned with networking the ZP500 to the printer in the Mac OS, but worth noting). I have enabled printer and file sharing in both the Mac OS and Vista OS on all 5 of the iMac machines. My thought was to network the ZP500 from the one virtual machine to the other virtual machines so that all of the computers can print to the ZP500 from the Vista OS. The ZP500 is connected to one of the computers on my network via USB cable. Unfortunately, the website does not support the Mac OS as well, so I cannot send the labels to the Zebra ZP500 from the Mac environment. () that I purchased, and I can successfully print to the Zebra ZP 500 from the Mac OS. I found a third party driver from a company called Peninsula out of the U.K. Unfortunately Zebra does not have a driver to support the Mac OS. We use for all of our shipping in the office and we have been given a Zebra ZP500 (ZPL) thermal printer (from FedEx) to print out our shipping labels. I have also assigned each of the virtual machines their own separate static IP addresses (rather than the default bridge mode that uses the iMac IP address).īased on my configuration I have 5 iMac computers, each running Vista, with a total of 10 IP addresses on my network. All virtual machines have the same OS version. On each of the 5 iMacs I have installed Fusion, and each is running a virtual machine with Windows Vista Home as the OS. Each of the iMac computers have been assigned a static IP address. I have an office with 5 iMac machines (all running OS X 10.5.6) and all 5 computers are networked together.
